Overview

At It’s Nice That, project managers are essential at all stages of the project process—not just in the planning and administration. From the early conversations with a client, scoping and contracting a project, then working collaboratively with our creative and editorial teams to define and deliver briefs across our platforms.

You will be responsible for the delivery of medium to large-scale projects, and achieving great results, working collaboratively with It’s Nice That’s editorial, digital, creative and marketing teams, as well as liaising extensively with an array of creative collaborators. We’re looking for someone with a keenness to work across a variety of mediums; strategy and research, design, digital, film and events production.

Our clients include Apple, Converse, Dropbox, Mailchimp, Pinterest and Spotify to name but a few, so past experience of communicating confidently and building lasting, positive relationships with both external contacts and colleagues is therefore essential

Job Purpose

  • Managing It's Nice That's online and commercial projects from scoping to execution
  • Keeping teams on brief, on time and on budget

Key skills and Attributes

  • Extensive project management experience leading cross-disciplinary teams in the end-to-end delivery of projects
  • Keenness to work across a variety of mediums; strategy and research, design, digital, film and events production
  • Process-driven, organised and methodical with a high attention to detail orally, in writing and with numbers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Positive and proactive problem solver, providing solutions and welcoming new challenges
  • Culturally astute and aware of the creative industry
  • Enthusiastic and proactive approach to personal development & strong ambition to learn new skills
  • Able to confidently juggle multiple projects with adapting workflows

Key Tasks

  • Responsible for the project management and production of projects
  • Account management of commercial clients
  • Managing workflow of project teams and competing priorities
  • Scoping, quoting and contracting new projects
  • Devising budgets and project timelines
  • Collaborating with commissioned creatives and suppliers
  • Overseeing effectiveness and financial performance of projects
  • Maintaining clear communication with all team members and collaborators

Software Knowledge

  • MS Excel, Google Sheets, Slides and Docs is essential
  • Indesign, Photoshop, Databases, CMS is useful but not essential

Key Details

  • Contract: Fixed term, 3 months
  • Salary: £32,000 - £38,000 depending on experience
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am — 6pm (flexible hours between 8am – 7pm)
  • Location: Remote working for the duration of 2021 due to Covid-19, with some presence in London studio required from 2022.
