Job Description

A challenging role for an advanced marketer that would thrive on the responsibility of rapid revenue growth and the recognition of taking a unique concept worldwide. You will be instrumental in bringing joy to thousands of people, as you craft excitement and connection in our community of customers and prospects.

You will take leadership over creating a high-functioning marketing department, as the company transitions from startup to growth phase. We are a supportive team and will invest in education and experimentation to push the boundaries of your abilities and our shared achievements.

Key Information

Salary: £55,000 to £65,000 per year depending on experience

Social: Annual retreat and monthly adventures/parties

Health: £500 per year for your physical/mental health

Education: £1000 per year for your learning and development

Tools: Premium hardware and software for you to do your best work

Annual Leave: 30 days (including public holidays)

Location: Hybrid (Minimum 5 days per month in London Office)

Hours: Flexible 40hrs per week (3 core hours per day between 10:00-18:00 GMT/BST)

Start Date: Mar-Apr 2022

You will be

Taking on responsibility for all marketing and communication activities for the organisation.

Strategy

  • Scaling existing marketing strategies to exhaustion
  • Experimenting with new marketing strategies to find future growth opportunities

Brand

  • Developing our brand architecture, naming conventions, tone of voice, and visual styles to strengthen our identity and positioning
  • Managing the library of brand and media assets and protecting them from misuse

Implementation

  • Running & optimising content marketing and paid digital campaigns
  • Crafting content for our websites and owned media channels
  • Managing our digital communities
  • Building marketing into our products through gamification
  • Writing and editing powerful copy that drives action
  • Managing the delivery of visual assets from our creative team
  • Improving automated messaging to craft beautiful customer journeys
  • Working with developers to improve our website conversion rate
  • Managing the communications diary and all official channels
  • Managing the marketing budget
  • Procuring agency and freelancer services and managing their delivery
  • Recruiting marketing team members and managing their work and development
  • Forging and managing marketing partnerships

Analysis

  • Conducting research and providing insights to colleagues on product development, pricing strategies and emerging markets
  • Maintaining customer profiles so the business has an excellent idea of who we are serving and what is important to them

You are

  • Curious about the psychology of what makes people happy and what makes them take action toward greater enjoyment of life
  • Equally scientific and artistic; analysing data to draw a deep understanding of people and the ability to engage them with captivating stories, go hand-in-hand in this role
  • Able to empathise with customers, understand what's important to them and how we can enhance their lives with our work
  • Comfortable working on big picture strategies and the day-to-day grind, and good at switching between those mindsets
  • Skillful at reacting to changing circumstances; pivoting activity to maintain results
  • Excited by ambitious targets and an entrepreneurial environment, where you will have more freedom and more responsibility, but will have to create your own structure
  • Highly organised with a fastidious attention to detail and appreciation for visual aesthetics
