Social / Digital Media Planner
Job Description
TANK is an independent publisher and creative agency based in London. Launched in 1998, we have prided ourselves on providing a platform for some of the most experimental and creative fashion image makers alongside substantial, thought-provoking work by writers, artists and film-makers. Since then, our business has expanded to encompass a boutique creative agency delivering leading marketing and content campaigns, the pioneering VR publication BecauseLondon.com and independent film streaming platform TANKtv.
We are looking for a creative and organised Social / Digital Media Planner to join the team. The duties, responsibilities & deliverables in this role include, but are not limited to:
- Helping to manage, coordinate and implement all of our organic and paid content, working closely with our creative teams and using your experience of using social media management, scheduling and publishing tools (eg. Sprout Social). Knowledge of editing software Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Premiere Pro and Photoshop) or smartphone/in-app editing software would be a bonus.
- You will be expected to assist in the planning, development, delivery, and analysis of strategic campaigns to improve overall campaign effectiveness and success.
- Set up and manage a variety of display and paid social campaigns .
- Lead and develop paid client campaigns. .
- Build relationships with key media partners and technology vendors (e.g. Google / Facebook / TikTok) to deliver the best service and opportunities for our clients.
- Work on several projects at the same time, often for several different clients, and manage the roll out plans in response to client briefs.
- Lead the day to day contact with clients (calls and/or face-to-face) to ensure that campaign management is in line with client expectations, providing feedback and advice on how to achieve the best performance.
- Using insights from a range of sources, both internal and external, to build a case for campaign strategy.
- Manage paid social campaign strategy, delivery, optimisations and the compilation of performance reports for post campaign analysis reports.
- Liaise with internal strategy and creative teams to ensure best in class media delivery in response to a client brief.
- Execute tests, collect and analyse data, identify trends and insights to maximize performance
- Continue to develop your knowledge in trends across social, paid media, display and email. Present learnings and continue to educate the wider team
- Liaise with in-house project management and creative team to ensure asset requirements are clear and will deliver success.
- Partner with project management and sales lead to respond to proactive & reactive advertising sales opportunities for all TANK platform and publications and corresponding social channels.
Skills and development
- The role requires good time management and strong communication skills.
- Desire to learn and develop skills across the media landscape.
- Prior experience of paid social is required, ideally with at least 1-2 years experience in a similar role.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets is desirable
- Proficiency across Google Ads, TikTok Ads, Facebook Business Manager to achieve expected performance targets.
